Embodied Entrepreneurship

Trauma-informed perspectives on wellness and work
1

This week I sat down with my longtime friend Jenni Stevens. After spending years as a licensed counselor in community mental health, Jenni felt a calling to expand her work. She trained to become a trauma informed yoga practitioner and subsequently opened Embodied Directions, a mental health care collaborative, which integrates yoga, movement, and therapeutic practices.

Jenni’s journey is one that required her to be embodied and in community, two core tenets of her wellness philosophy. Her story is a model for anyone in a stage of growth and seeking to move into a new phase of personal or professional well-being.
